In an effort to keep motorists safe this Thanksgiving, the Collinsville Police Department, in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Transportation Click It or Ticket focus, will be stepping up traffic enforcement.

Collinsville Police Lt. Eric Zaber said traffic enforcement has been proven to save lives and that is where the department's focus will be during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Collinsville Police Department will be targeting seat belt violations, speeding and DUI enforcement.
