Verdict: Quality acting at Looking Glass Playhouse

Published: November 17, 2012

The outstanding play "12 Angry Men" was presented at the Looking Glass Playhouse on Nov. 11 -- only 12 persons presented the jury trial of a young man accused of murder.

The actors gave a remarkable performance in presenting the personality of each juror. They exposed the character of each person, which in turn explained why they voted as they did.

Through the outstanding portrayal of each juror, the audience was drawn into absorbing the essence of each individual. There was no intermission, which allowed the actors a full two hours to develop their characters. Obviously, their talent and dedication permitted only 12 people to keep the audience enthralled for two hours.

We did not need to go across the river to catch a fine presentation. We look forward to another season of such quality entertainment.
