The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BELLEVILLE POLICE

FRIDAY, NOV. 16

8:35 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 1200 block of Schilling. The victim reported that someone punctured a tire on her vehicle.

9:25 p.m. Criminal trespass to property -- 400 block of North Charles Street. Virgil Crawford, 51, was arrested after refusing to leave the back porch of the residence. Crawford was transported and held pending bond.

10:05 p.m. Criminal trespass possession of drug paraphernalia -- Big Daddy's, 313 E. Main St. Jefferie Wilson, 33, was arrested after officers responded to the bar for a subject removal. Wilson refused to leave the premises when asked to and while dealing with officers was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Wilson also has an active warrant out of St. Clair County. Wilson was transported and released after posting bond.

10:35 p.m. Burglary to a residence -- 9400 block of West Main Street. The victim reported returning to her residence and finding the front door open and several items missing from inside.

11:30 p.m. Suspicious person, possession of cannabis -- Quick Trip, 755 S. Belt West. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. On arrival officers made contact with Curtis Johnson, 21. Johnson was arrested after officers discovered cannabis on his person. Johnson was transported and later released with a notice to appear.

11:39 p.m. Burglary to residence, possible home invasion -- 300 block of East Park Drive. The victim reported being in her residence when she heard strange noises coming from the area of the kitchen. The victim went to the kitchen and discovered her back door open and property missing from the kitchen table.

saturday, nov. 17

2:02 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- 28th Street and Sheridan. Luke Outman, 18, was arrested during a traffic stop after appearing to be intoxicated and failing field sobriety tests. Outman was transported and held pending bond.

3:48 a.m. Theft of copper -- First block of South Belt East. Two suspects were arrested when officers patrolling the area observed both of them attempting to hide behind a utility pole. Upon further investigation officers observed the wires on the pole were damaged. Both suspects were transported and held pending further investigation.

9:05 a.m. Burglary to a residence -- 1300 block of North 17th Street. The reporting party stated between Oct. 19 and Nov. 17, unknown person(s) forced entry to a basement door and property was stolen.

1:44 p.m. Battery -- 400 block of North 5th Street. The victim reported she was battered by Amanda K.F. Schmittling, 30, during a disturbance. Schmittling was located at her residence, arrested and released with a notice to appear.

10:54 p.m. Theft of trailer -- 700 block of South Belt West. The victim reported his black 12x6-foot trailer with Wisconsin registration was stolen form a parking space in a vacant lot near the Terrace Motel. The victim stated an unknown white male and white female in a green Chevy Silverado pickup hooked up to his trailer and fled the scene.

SUNDAY, NOV. 18

12:41 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 200 block of Brookhaven Drive. The victim reported he discovered the passenger window to his vehicle broken out and items missing from inside.

1:47 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence -- First block of North 60th Street. Martin Boatman, 26, was arrested during a traffic stop after appearing to be extremely intoxicated. Boatman was transported and released after posting bond.

3:15 p.m. Retail theft over $300 -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. The suspects were arrested after placing merchandise in their cart and walking out of the store without purchasing the items. Both suspects were transported and held pending felony retail theft charges.

2:06 p.m. Animal cruelty -- 1000 block of Caseyville Avenue. Neighbors reported three dogs had been abandoned in the vacant residence. The officer found the door to the residence was unlocked. The officer and Animal Control entered the residence and located three dogs that had been neglected. Animal Control took custody of the dogs.

3:43 p.m. Residential burglary -- 300 block of East A Street. The reporting party found forced entry to the basement and witnessed an unknown subject leaving. The reporting party called the police and followed subject until officers arrived. Officers arrested the suspect after a short foot pursuit. The suspect was transported and held pending further investigation.

6:25 p.m. Retail theft -- Kmart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. A juvenile was arrested after employees observed her conceal items and pass all points of sale and attempt to leave the store. The juvenile was detained until officers arrived. The juvenile was released to her mother on scene. Further investigation pending by the Juvenile Detective Division.

6:48 p.m. Disorderly conduct, false use of 911 -- 900 block of North Charles Street. Rakiyah Alexander, 18, was arrested after he called 911 three times complaining that officers were not responding quickly enough to a civil stand by call. During the third call, Alexander asked if someone said a person had a gun would that get officers there quicker. Alexander was transported and held pending bond.

7:27 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 4500 block of West Washington Street. The victim reported between 7 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., unknown person entered her vehicle and property was stolen.

7:42 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 500 block of North 41st Street. Rickey Seibert Jr., 27, was arrested after causing damage to several items in his mother's home during an argument. Seibert fled the scene prior to police arrival but was located a short distance away. Seibert was transported and held pending bond.

MONDAY, NOV. 19

1:40 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of North 9th Street. The victim reported discovering the front passenger window broken out and the battery missing from her vehicle, which had been left in the parking lot for several days.

2:42 p.m. Domestic battery -- 300 block of Arapaho. The suspect was arrested when officers responding to a disturbance discovered he had grabbed his girlfriend/victim by the hair and shoved her down multiple times. The suspect was transported and held pending further investigation.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, NOV. 16

Debra A. Taylor, 38, of 2917 West Boulevard, Apt. 10, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful communication with a witness on Nov. 13. Taylor allegedly with the intent to deter Carmenicia Dixon, a witness, from testifying freely, fully and truthfully to a matter then pending in the St. Clair County Illinois Circuit Court, being the prosecution of Antown Johnson for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, directly communicated to Carmenicia Dixon a threat of injury to the person of Carmenicia Dixon.

Ryan A. Taylor, 23, of 3232 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful us a weapon subsequent offense on Nov. 15 by Fairview Heights police. Taylor allegedly carried in a vehicle a stun gun at a time when he was not on his own land or in his own abode or fixed place of business, uncased and unloaded and immediately accessible. Defendant had been previously convicted of Robbery on June 29, 2011.

Saavion A. Scott, 20, of 1115 St. Marcella Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 by St. Clair County sheriff. Scott allegedly carried on his person a 12 gauge shotgun and AR-15 rifle, at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own home, or fixed place of business, Defendant had not been issued a valid FOID card.

Verneda L. Scott, 36, of 1218 St. Stephens, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 by St. Clair County sheriff. Scott allegedly carried in a vehicle a 9 mm handgun at a time when she was not on her own land, or in her own abode, or fixed place of business. Defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID card.

FRIDAY, NOV. 16

Charles E. Hawkins, 40, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of suspended or revoked driver's license, traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Jamie S. Butler, 27, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of suspended or revoked driver's license, traffic violation, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Daniel Polites, 22, of O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, three traffic violations by St. Clair County sheriff.

Demario S. Garner, 21, of East St. Louis, traffic violation by Illinois State Police.

Demarcus S. Garner, 19, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of theft of $300 and probation violation by Illinois State Police.

Anthony E. Tarvin, 24, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of all other disorderly conduct, resisting, obstructing or disarming a peace officer by St. Clair County sheriff.

Shawn L. Steele, 21, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of resisting, obstructing or disarming a peace officer, traffic violation by Belleville police.

Elwood Lewis, 38, of Alorton, arrested on suspicion of probation violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Allen Y. Holloway, 44, of Washington Park, arrested on suspicion of theft of $300, criminal damage to property by East St. Louis police.

Lorenzo W. Bruce, 43, of Alorton, arrested on suspicion of theft of $300, criminal damage to property by East St. Louis police.

Antonio M. Patton, 18, of East ST. Louis, arrested on suspicion of burglary, multiple warrant arrest by East St. Louis police.

Joseph J. Spencer, 18, of Centreville, arrested on suspicion of burglary, parole violation by East St. Louis police.

Tabatha M. Thornton, 36, of Shiloh, warrant arrest by Shiloh police.

Carmella L. Harmon, 22, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft by East St. Louis police.

Janee A. Jackson, 20, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis, possession of drug equipment, illegal consumption by a minor, driving under the influence, operating uninsured motor vehicle, two traffic violations by Illinois State Police.

Ashley M. Middleton, 24, of Shiloh, warrant arrest by O'Fallon police.

Craig T. Otto, 22, of Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of two counts of driving under the influence, two traffic violations by Illinois State Police.
