Fire at Cahokia mobile home under investigation

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a mobile home early Tuesday morning in Cahokia.

The blaze started at about 2:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Renois Lane. According to firefighters, the occupant of the residence was not at home when the fire started and no one was injured. But the damage to the mobile home was extensive.

As of Tuesday morning the person who lives in the fire damaged home had not been located by authorities.
