William and Berniece Galle of Marissa celebrated their 65th anniversary on Nov. 15th.

William and the former Berniece Lehr were married on Nov. 15, 1947 at Evangelical & Reformed Church in Biddleborn, IL by Rev. John Hilley.

William is a retired farmer and foundry worker and is active with the church, VFW & Seniors.

Berniece is a retired nurse’s aide and is active with the church, VFW Auxiliary & Seniors.

They have 2 children: Dennis (Cynthia) Galle of Marissa, IL and Diane (Paul) Harper of Hobe Sound, FL.

They have 6 grandchildren.
