The Fairview Heights Area Food Pantry was once again a grateful recipient of food from the annual Boy Scout Food Drive. An estimated 12,000 items were received from the drive. Items were counted, shelved and crated by volunteers from the pantry and high school students from Belleville East.
The Boy Scout drive is critical to our being able to help feed the growing number of families in our community who find themselves needing our assistance. We are so thankful for the help they provide every year.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the others churches, schools and organizations which have brought in great quantities of food this year.
Please remember to continue to support your local pantries during the coming year.

President, Fairview Area Food Pantry
