By the time the readers see this article, the smell of fresh air will surround us, Election Day has come and gone, and once again we, the voters, have put the devil himself back in office.

Well, we must have elected the devil because almost every paid political advertisement run by either party told me not to vote for the other guy because he or she would take away from me everything I have and hold dear.

Of course for most of us as for those people elected or wishing to get elected, for the most part, if your lips are moving ... well, you know what they say.

So ponder this. Millions of dollars were spent in this political process throughout every state of this great nation, as always telling lies about each other.

How many homeless or hungry people and children around the world could have been fed with those dollars?
