Although the St. Louis Rams appear to be slowing down, Rams fans have nothing to be disappointed about. The team already has more wins than last season.
The loss to the Miami Dolphins was disappointing, but losses to two top-tier teams like the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots should not disappoint a team still in the rebuilding process. The Rams are playing with much more intensity than in past seasons. Coach Jeff Fisher has done an amazing job getting these players to believe they can win every game, and as a fan this is all I can ask.
Most of the games in the second half of the season are winnable games. The Rams play several teams in the same situation as the Rams including Arizona, Tampa Bay, Minnesota and Buffalo.
If the Rams play up to their potential, nothing is stopping them from going 8-8. If they can find a way to steal a game from San Francisco or Seattle, they would be in the wild card conversation.
My outlook may be optimistic, but at least it is reasonable for the first time in years.
