The 4th annual St. Clair County Health Policy Summit will be held Thursday at McKendree University in Lebanon.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hett Theater at the university located at 701 College Road.
The theme of this year's summit is The Power of Collective Impact, which emphasizes community-based health initiatives to help residents increase their health. The summit will also focus on future projects, including complete streets, school health and safety and smoke-free multi-unit housing.
Monte Roulier, co-founder and president of Community Initiatives, will be the keynote speaker. Community Initiatives is a network of professionals and partner organizations dedicated to building health and whole communities.
Cost to attend the event is $15 for the general public, $5 for students. The cost includes refreshments and lunch.
