— Police are still looking for the gunman who shot and killed a 23-year-old East St. Louis man at 3 a.m. Sunday outside the Pink Slip, a club in Brooklyn.

The victim, Walter H. Taylor Jr., of the 1200 block of Cleveland Ave. in East St. Louis, and the shooter got into an argument while they were standing line in front of the club waiting to get in, Illinois State Police Lt. Dave Wasmuth said.

Taylor was pronounced dead in front of the business, which is located at 114 S. Fourth St.

There was video surveillance at the club, and Wasmuth said police are reviewing and analyzing it.
