Dr. Duk Kim of Memorial Hospital in Belleville received the 2012 Matthew B. Eisele M.D. Physician Excellence Award, which was recently presented during Memorial Hospital's Medical Staff Dinner. This award was established to recognize a physician on the hospital's staff who exemplifies dedication to medicine, delivery of quality care and a commitment to the community. Kim has been a member of the hospital's medical staff for more than 36 years.

Michelle Graham joined Family Life Consultants, of Collinsville, as a behavioral health therapist. Graham provides guidance in many specialized areas including grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transitions and those looking to improve their marriage.

Monica Bristow, president of the River Bend Growth Association, was elected as 2013 Chairman for the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. The Godfrey-based RiverBend Growth Association serves as both the chamber of commerce and the economic development organization for the communities of the metro-east's riverbend region.
