Mr. and Mrs. Ron Smith of Collinsville, IL celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 22, 2012 with family and friends at the Nottingham Country Club in Maryville, IL.

Ron and the former Sandy Rollberg were married on September 1, 1962 by Ron’s uncle Judge Grider.

They have traveled extensively throughout the United States as well as European trips and Cruises in their 50 years of marriage and now planning a European Cruise next spring. They just returned from a week stay at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Mo. to celebrate 50 years together.

Ron is retired from Local 100 in E. St. Louis and Sandy has retired from Energizer World Headquarters in St. Louis, MO.

They have two children, Jeanne Pysz and husband Kevin of Maryville, IL and Ron Jr. and wife Jennifer of Collinsville, IL.

The have four grandchildren, Bennet and Spencer Pysz and a set of twins, Ronnie III and Johnna Smith of Collinsville, IL.
