Congratulations to Larry Betz, Ralph and Melinda Hult an all their volunteers who saved, fixed up and sold 804 E. Washington St. in Belleville. The property set for demolition has been sold to a first-time homebuyer and will become a positive, owner-occupied residence.

Projects such as this may not work out as well as this one did every time, but when they do, the dedicated volunteers should be duely congratulated.
