What is the deal with gas prices up and down so many times in a week and a half? Who determines these prices? One station must get notified and then they all follow.
On Tuesday, Nov. 6 gas was $3.19; Wednesday, $3.39; Thursday, $3.37-$3.35; Friday, $3.18; Monday, $3.18, Tuesday, $3.39; Wednesday, $3.36-$3.33; Thursday, $3.29.
I think the oil people are making a lot of money and are taking advantage of everyone. They said the hurricane would not cause prices to go up but I'm sure they will say that was the reason.
What about all the other times? What could cause gas prices to be $3.19 then go up 20 cents to $3.39 overnight, then drop a penny or two for a few days? Then go down and then right back up in the same week?
When we go to Missouri we also fill up there. Oh guess what, gas went up last Tuesday to $3.49. Just in time for Thanksgiving.
