In response to letter writer Jim Walters: Excuse me, but I don't think I am a moron.
Yes, I voted for Mitt Romney. Considering what President Obama did during the last four years, raising the debt to $16 trillion. Unemployment was up for at least three years to more than 8 percent and just a few months ago went down, and about Obamacare. Granted some of that is good, but do we really want an insurance out there that most people will have to pay a penalty on?
Because of Obama we are possibly heading for a fiscal cliff. Walters apparently don't mind throwing money out the window to the Congress because in essence, that is what he is doing.
Why is it that this president found it so hard to work with people to get the job done? Maybe instead of playing golf and being on talk shows he should have spent more time working with Congress. No other president has ever had trouble working with both sides. Have you ever seen any other president while in office have time to do those two things? The answer, of course, is no.
A guy on a radio program said he was going to have to let 100-plus employees go because of Obamacare. Also, if the fiscal cliff does happen, everyone's taxes will go up and by the end of the year unemployment will shoot back up to 9.1 percent.
The fiscal cliff is all Obama's fault. He didn't do much of anything the first four years. So no, those of us who voted for Romney are not morons. If Obama would have done his job, we would not be facing a fiscal cliff now.
