Suspect robs Belleville gas station at gunpoint

— Police are looking for a male suspect who robbed a Casey's gas station in Belleville at gunpoint Monday night. No injuries were reported.

Belleville police responded to an armed robbery call at about 10:40 p.m. Monday at the Casey's located in the 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue.

Gas station employees reported a male suspect entered the store, pointed a pistol at them and demanded money, according to police.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

The suspect was described as black, approximately 5-foot-10, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a ski mask and dark-colored jeans.
