BELLEVILLE POLICE

TUESDAY, NOV. 20

6:29 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of North Church. The victim reported between 7:30 p.m. and 7:40 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and property was stolen.

8:57 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 1300 block of North Church Street. The victim reported the rear window of her vehicle was broken out by an unknown subject and an unknown object. Her neighbor's son reported hearing what he thought was a gunshot and then glass breaking as he was walking into his parent's house.

11:49 p.m. Attempted burglary to vehicles -- 1700 block of Mascoutah Avenue. Officers responded to the area for a report of three male juveniles walking through the neighborhood and trying the door handles on parked vehicles. Officers checked the area with negative results.

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 21

7:04 a.m. Burglary -- Farmer's Market, 500 N. Illinois St. An employee reported as she opened the business at 7 a.m., she discovered unknown person(s) had forced entry to the business and property was stolen.

10:33 a.m. Retail theft -- Dollar General, 1 Bellevue Park Plaza. The suspect was arrested after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying for the items. The suspect was transported and held pending further investigation of subsequent retail theft.

1:06 p.m. Conspiracy to commit armed robbery -- 5700 block of North Belt West. Two suspects were stopped in front of Aarons Rental and taken into custody for investigation to commit a robbery. Both subjects were transported and held pending further investigation.

3:35 p.m. Violation of a stalking/no contact order -- 100 block of North High Street. The victim reported Terry D. Roy, 47, was in violation of an active stalking/no contact order by being within 500 feet of the residence. Roy was located and arrested. Roy was transported and held pending bond.

5:05 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- Dollar General, 4 Wade Square. The victim reported discovering items missing from her vehicle on the parking lot. The incident occurred between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m.

THURSDAY, NOV. 22

1:09 a.m. Theft -- Schatze's Bar, 2301 E. Main St. Casey Baugh, 32, was arrested after he stole a wallet out of the victim's purse in the bar and fled the area with it. Baugh and the wallet were later discovered by officers a short distance away. Baugh was transported and released after posting bond.

2:56 a.m. Unlawful use of weapon -- South Charles and East Van Buren. Maxwell Grant, 25, was arrested after officers responding to a disturbance in the area located him leaving the scene. Grant ignored officers' requests to stop and speak with them. Officers observed two large kitchen knives in Grant's hands, ordered him to drop them at gun point, and took him into custody. Grant admitted he had heard a disturbance going on at his friend's residence, grabbed the knives, and was on his way to the scene. Grant was transported and held pending bond.

3:32 p.m. Retail theft -- K-Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. An employee reported the suspect left the store without paying for merchandise. The suspect left the area in a black Chevy pickup.

4:17 p.m. Occupancy violation, resisting, obstructing -- 4000 block of South Park Drive. Robert Rucker, 33, was arrested for refusing to obey the commands of officers, pulling away from officers and not being on the occupancy permit. After telling officers he was going to fight them, he was tased. Rucker was released with a notice to appear.

7:43 p.m. Fleeing and eluding, obstructing -- Illinois 161 and 17th Street. Jennifer Maurer, 34, was arrested after she fled from officers attempting to perform a traffic stop on her vehicle. Maurer sped away from officers when they activated their emergency lights and she failed to stop at stop sign, utilized the lanes improperly and eventually came to a stop in her driveway. Maurer was taken into custody and transported to headquarters. Maurer refused to cooperate with the booking process and refused to give officers booking information. Maurer was held pending bond.

9:15 p.m. Criminal damge to property, trespass -- 300 block of North 45th Street. The victim reported arriving home and discovering her ex-boyfriend/suspect in her residence and had gained entry by damaging the front door frame. The victim told the suspect to leave. The suspect left, but on his way out, broke out the front window. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. The victim signed a nontraffic citation against the suspect.

10:55 p.m. Violation of an order of protection -- 2100 block of East B Street. The victim reported receiving multiple text messages from her ex-boyfriend/suspect violating an active order of protection she has against him.

FRIDAY, NOV. 23

10:10 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 400 block of South Virginia. The victim reported between 7 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., unknown suspects broke out the rear window of her blue 2011 Jeep Liberty.

12:05 p.m. Burglary -- 600 block of Bristow. The victim reported between Nov. 21 and Nov. 22, unknown suspect(s) entered his garage through an unlocked door and property was stolen.

3:03 p.m. Theft -- Sullivan's, 907 N. Illinois. The business owner reported between 6 p.m. on Nov. 22 and 10 a.m. on Nov. 23, unknown suspect(s) stole property from the rear patio of his bar.

4:16 p.m. Burglary -- Tony's Food Mart, 701 Sherman. The business owner reported between Nov. 21 and Nov. 23, unknown person(s) entered his business through a window and property was stolen.

6:43 p.m. Burglary to residence -- 400 block of Arapaho Drive. The victim reported his neighbor called him and advised that she observed a suspicious older model station wagon driving around the neighborhood. The neighbor also heard banging and observed a subject walking out of his residence carrying something in his hands. The subject put the item in the station wagon and left the area. Several items were removed from the residence.

8:17 p.m. Retail theft -- Shop N Save, 800 Carlyle Ave. The manager reported two males entered the store took items and passed all points of sale. After being confronted by employees, one suspect, 19, surrendered the alcohol but fled the scene. Marshean Hinkle, 18, also surrendered the alcohol and returned to the store with the employees. Hinkle was arrested, transported and released with a notice to appear.

11:50 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis -- Sherman and Page. Officers conducted a vehicle stop on a white GMC Sierra. The driver, Gregory Crockett, 40, was arrested after a small amount of cannabis was discovered on his person. Crockett was transported and held pending bond.

SATURDAY, NOV. 24

2:11 a.m. Aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated assault, battery -- 1800 block of Foster. Officers responded for a report of a possible home invasion. After arriving on scene it was discovered that during a house party, a fight broke out with some uninvited subjects. The fight moved out to the front yard where one subject pulled out a gun and fired one round into the ground. The subject then pointed the gun at several people on scene and then fired another round into the ground. Several people ran from the scene. The subject was gone on arrival. The other uninvited subjects stated they were jumped at the party; they were transported to an area hospital.

3:23 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- Labor Ready, 23 Bellevue Park Plaza. While on patrol, an officer discovered damage to a large window and glass front entrance door of the business.

3:43 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 27 Bellevue Park Plaza. While on patrol, an officer discovered damage to two large exterior windows on the old Sears building. The interior of the building was searched with negative results.

8:54 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 300 block of North 44th Street. The victim reported between Nov. 23 and Nov. 24, unknown person(s) threw a brick through his vehicle window.

11:30 a.m. Violation of an order of protection -- 1200 block of North 17th Street. The suspect was arrested after he texted his ex-girlfriend/victim, while she was staying at a residence in Belleville, violating an active order of protection. O'Fallon P.D. assisted and they arrested the suspect. The suspect was transported, where he is being held pending further investigation.

12:29 p.m. Domestic battery -- First block of South 14th Street. The victim reported her brother/suspect allegedly battered her during an argument. The suspect was gone on arrival.

2:49 p.m. Motor vehicle theft -- 400 block of Arapaho. The victim reported between 1 and 2:48 p.m., unknown person(s) removed his 2006 Nissan 350z bearing Illinois registration from his driveway.

SUNDAY, NOV. 25

12:17 a.m. Disturbance -- 9600 block of West Main Street. Officers responded to a report of a possible hit and run that occurred. The victim and suspect were located at North 75th and Church Streets in East St. Louis. The ictim claimed he was struck by a Dodge Durango. The driver/suspect stated the victim was following her and her passenger. When the victim was banging on the passenger door of the vehicle, she pulled off. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

2:21 a.m. Driving under the influence, possession of cannabis -- South Illinois and McKinley. Officers responded to a report of a light pole in the roadway. A white Kia was located, unoccupied, a few blocks away with heavy front end damage. The driver, Christina M. Fasano, 23, returned to the scene with Frank Fragale, 22, and was arrested for driving under the influence and leaving the scene. During a search of the vehicle, cannabis and drug paraphernalia were located. Fragale claimed ownership of those items and was arrested. Fragale was transported, given a notice to appear, then transported to the St. Clair County Jail for outstanding warrants. Fasano was transported and released after posting bond.

2:19 p.m. Burglary -- 1600 block of North Church Street. The victim reported she observed an unknown male remove a gas can from her shed and flee in an older model white Ford Escort with tinted windows. The suspect and the vehicle were gone on arrival.

3:36 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 600 block of Fulton. The victim reported sometime overnight, unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and property was stolen.

10:06 p.m. Theft -- 100 block of South 37th Street. The victim reported between 4 and 6 p.m. property was stolen from her residence. The victim believes two subjects she hired to paint were responsible for the theft.

MONDAY, NOV. 26

1:20 a.m. Domestic battery -- Foster and West Belle. The victim reported she was battered by her boyfriend/suspect while riding in his vehicle in the area of Foster and West Belle. The victim was able to exit the vehicle but the suspect chased her down and continued to hit her. The victim was able to get up and ran home. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene. The suspect was gone on arrival.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

MONDAY, NOV. 26

William E. White, 37, of 3204 Keil Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of failure to report an accident involving personal injury on Nov. 3 by St. Clair County sheriff. White allegedly failed to stop the vehicle he was driving after that vehicle was involved in an accident at 129 Cascade Drive, Belleville, in which David Goodman was personally injured as a result of that accident, and thereafter failed to report the accident to the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department within one-half hour after the accident.

Jessica L. Robertson, 21, of 604 Falling Leaf Way, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 24 by Fairview Heights police. Robertson allegedly had in her possession a substance containing hydrocodone and drove a 2003 red Ford Escape on Lincoln Trail in Fairview Heights while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol.

Thomas W. Haas Jr., 32, of 121 Villa Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Nov. 23 by Fairview Heights police. Haas allegedly drove a red Ford truck on U.S. 50 and Old Lincoln Trail in Fairview Heights while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were revoked.

Aaron K. Sumida, 25, of 1424 Bristlecone Drive, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of theft from the person and possession of drug paraphernalia on Nov. 23 by Fairview Heights police. Sumida allegedly obtained unauthorized control over property from Judy K. Kraner, a purse, total value not in excess of $500; possessed an item of drug paraphernalia, a multi-colored glass pipe, with the intent to use the pipe in inhaling cannabis into his body.

Franklin B. Gatzert, homeless, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on Nov. 23 by Dupo police. Gatzert allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Rebecca K. Dickerson, 1513 N. Second St., Dupo, with the intent to commit theft.

Robert L. McGeehan, 39, of 316 N. 41st St., Dupo, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on Nov. 23 by Dupo police. McGeehan allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Rebecca K. Dickerson, 1513 N. Second St., Dupo, with the intent to commit theft.

Savion N. Bruce, 18, of 608 N. 57th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of attempted theft from the person on Nov. 21 by Belleville police. Bruce allegedly went to Schnuck's Plaza, 5720 North Belt West, Belleville, wearing black clothing and black gloves with the plan to take purses out of person's shopping carts.

Nicole Deaton, 30, of 509 S. Metter Ave., Columbia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated participation in meth manufacturing and unlawful possession of meth manufacturing materials on Nov. 23 by St. Clair County sheriff. Deaton allegedly attempted to produce more than 100 but less than 400 grams of methamphetamine; had in her possession methamphetamine material, being muriatic acid, ammonium nitrate and lithium batteries.

Paul E. Deaton, 35, of 793 W. Park, Union, Mo., arrested on suspicion of aggravated participation in meth manufacturing and unlawful possession of meth manufacturing materials on Nov. 23 by St. Clair County sheriff. Deaton allegedly attempted to produce more than 100 but less than 400 grams of methamphetamine; had in his possession methamphetamine material, being muriatic acid, ammonium nitrate and lithium batteries.

Curtis Jordan III, 22, of 2921 Converse Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery (two counts), on Oct. 26 by Cahokia police. Jordan allegedly and by use of a deadly weapon, a baseball bat, knowingly caused bodily harm to Michael Harris, in that he struck him in the right leg with the bat, thereby fracturing Michael Harris' leg.

Terrell D. Amerson, 15, of 5702 Hallows Ave., Washington Park, arrested on suspicion of aggravaged criminal sexual assault (two counts) on Nov. 17 by Washington Park police. Amerson allegedly committed an act of sexual assault on a female minor, with a date of birth of July 6, 2004.

Edward K. Gilliland, 33, of 3717 Prattte Road, Bonne Terre, Mo., arrested on suspicion of violation of order of protection, prior violation of order of protection on Nov. 21 by Millstadt police. Gilliland allegedly, having been served with the contents of an order of protection, knowingly commited an act which was prohibited by the order of protection in that said defendant came within 500 feet of a protected party, Regina Mueller. Defendant had been previously convicted of Violation of Order of Protection on Aug. 28.
