A pair of Madison County men have been charged with burglary after stealing power tools.
According to Sheriff's Department Capt. Mike Dixon, deputies were called just after 2 p.m. Monday to 6916 W. Main St. where the resident said someone took tools from an out building on his property and named Nicholas C. Eckert, 19 of 709 Patty Drive, Apt. A in Maryville, and Tyler J. Wilson, 19 of 411 Carroll Lane in Glen Carbon, as possible suspects.
Dixon said evidence found during the investigation linked Eckert and Wilson to the burglary. The men were located at their homes and taken into custody. Bond on the men was set at $75,000 each.
