The Gateway EITC Community Coalition is seeking volunteers to help low income and elderly residents prepare their tax returns after the beginning of the year.

The coalition offers free earned income tax credit preparation and education to low-income residents in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Volunteers are needed to assist from late January through April 15. Training begins in January in Madison and St. Clair counties and volunteers must attend one or more sessions. Tax assistance experience is not required to help.
