The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

THURSDAY, NOV. 29

Ronald A. Webb Jr., 26, of 9500 Mary Ann, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of criminal neglect of a long-term care facility resident. Webb, an employee, a caregiver, of the Cerebral Palsy of Southwestern Illinois Community Integrated Living Arrangement, the Monticello House, a long-term care facility, located at 105 Monticello Place, Fairview Heights, criminally neglected Sara Beatty, a resident, in that said defendant recklessly failed to perform an act that the defendant reasonably should have known was necessary to maintain the health of Sara Beatty, and that failure caused Beatty's health to be injured, in that he failed to secure the seat belt on Sara Beatty's wheelchair while transporting her in it, whereby Sara Beatty fell out of the wheelchair, which caused injuries to her foot.

Davis L. Johnson, 29, of 801 E. 5th St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on Oct. 27 by Fairview Heights police. Johnson allegedly had in his possession a substance containing oxycodone.

Maurice D. Shelton, 29, of 1701 O'Fallon St., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of murder, intent to kill, and injure on Nov. 25 by Illinois State police. Shelton allegedly, without lawful justification, shot Walter Taylor with a handgun, outside a Brooklyn nightclub knowing said act would cause the death of Walter Taylor, thereby causing the death of Walter Taylor.

Gary R. Mattern, 59, of 105 East Oak, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault on Nov. 19 by Mascoutah police. Mattern allegedly, in committing an assault, knowingly pointed a gun at the stomach of Christopher England, thereby placing Christopher England in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery, knowing Christopher England to be an employee of the city of Mascoutah, engaged in the performance of his authorized duties.

Jerry L. Brenning, 50, of 4528 Schwab Road, Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, subsequent offense and interference in reporting domestic violence on Nov. 16 by St. Clair County sheriff. Brenning allegedly, made physical contact with Lee M. Voelker, a family/household member of the defendant, in that he slapped Lee M. Voelker's face with his hand, then prevented Lee Voelker from calling 911 Emergency Telephone System. The defendant had been previously convicted of Domestic Battery on Aug. 27, 2007.

Jamie R. Cox, 29, of Belleville, multiple warrant arrest by Belleville police.

Rosemary E. Miller, 37, of Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of probation violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Heather I. McGrath, 32, of East Alton, multiple arrest warrant by St. Clair County sheriff.

Kenia Lopez, 31, of Granite City, arrested on suspicion of canceled or suspended or revoked license, operating uninsured motor vehicle, suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

Devonn C. Jones, 35, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Brenda Hinton, 44, of Belleville, warrant arrest by Belleville police.

Matthew G. Wideman, 24, of Fairview Heights, warrant arrest by Fairview Heights police.

John F. Austin, 48, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of operating uninsured motor vehicle, suspended or revoked driver's license, multiple warrant arrest by Illinois State Police.

Demetria R. Mosley, 28, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Jessie D. Mosley, 17, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon by East St. Louis police.

Claudious P. Spencer, 24, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, warrant arrest by Belleville police.

Amber D. Dearmin, 26, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence by St. Clair County sheriff.

Roger D. Scott Jr., 40, of Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of theft over $300 by St. Clair County sheriff.

Charles J. Swan, 31, of Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of harassment by telephone by St. Clair County sheriff.

MADISON COUNTY SHERIFF

FRIDAY, NOV. 23

James W. Sanders, 45, of Godfrey, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence. Sanders has two previous driving under the influence charges.

SATURDAY, NOV. 24

Douglas L. Connoyer, 25, of Wood River, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

SUNDAY, NOV. 25

Kyle C. Kappler, 32, of Moro, was arrested on suspicion of driver under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving.

TUESDAY, NOV. 27

Nicholas C. Eckert, 19, of Maryville and Tyler J. Wilson, 19, of Glen Carbon were arrested on suspicion of burglary. Eckert and Wilson allegedly burglarized a home Monday in the 6900 block of West Main Street in Maryville. Bond was set at $75,000 on both defendants.
