Tickets are sold out for the first Belleville Sports Dinner, which will raise money for the installation of field turf at Belleville West and Belleville East high school.
The dinner, at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Fischer's Restaurant in Belleville, will include special guest speakers Bob Goalby, Belleville native and former Masters Golf Tournament champion; St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster Mike Shannon; and former St. Louis Cardinals offensive lineman and NFL Hall of Fame member Dan Dierdorf. Dierdorf will be the master of ceremonies.
Also scheduled to be at the dinner are former Belleville West and St. Louis University standout Joe Wiley, along with former Washington Redskins defensive lineman Dave Butz.
