Several of your readers have complained recently about the lack of news in the BND; they are right. Furthermore, I don't think a full-page headline about a local high school football team finishing second in a Class 2A competition is the stuff of headlines. I don't mean to diminish Althoff's accomplishment but it belonged on the Sports page.

With world falling apart all around us, I'm sure you could have found a newsworthy headline.

I enjoy the BND and local news; however there is very little national news and no international news. Columnists must be charging a lot of money these days since you don't feature any. It would really be great to get a diversity perspectives.

It would seem by the number of advertisements that you could afford it. It could possibly increase you circulation, thus even more profit.
