The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

MONDAY

7:45 p.m. THEFT BY DECEPTION -Walgreens, 515 Carlyle Ave. The victim, a 35-year-old female, reported an ex-friend/suspect, a 36-year-old female, picked up a prescription for her son from his doctor's office. The prescription was filled and given to the suspect.

Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. For more police blotter news, read tomorrow's print edition of the Belleville News-Democrat and return to bnd.com.
