LU-Belleville's Starks honored by USCAA BELLEVILLE -- Lindenwood University-Belleville learned Tuesday that Todd Starks was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second-consecutive week by the USCAA.
Starks became the first Lynx in program history to reach the 1,000 point-milestone last week, with a 31-point performance against Hannibal-LaGrange. The senior, who has reached double-figures in all 12 games this season, put up 101 points on the week, including two 31-point games that ties second all-time for single-game scoring. In the team's overtime win against William Woods, Starks played all 45 minutes, putting up 31 points and made a school-best 14 free throws. His performance at the William Woods classic earned him a spot on the All-Tournament team. He also had 12 assists, six rebounds, four steals and two blocks last week.

Lynx matman recognized by USCAA
BELLEVILLE -- Kameron Harris was named Wrestler of the Week after his first-career match, earning the team's first honor this season when the USCAA announced the honor Tuesday.
Harris wrestled in his first four matches against top-ranked NAIA teams after coming off of his first football season as a Lynx. He won all four matches, clinching three dual meet wins for the team.
Harris took down Wayland Baptist University, Bacone College, Central Baptist College and Menlo College to go undefeated.
It was the first match for Harris and the first Wrestler of the Week for the Lynx. It is the second weekly honor for Harris, as he earned USCAA Offensive Player of the Week during the inaugural football season.
