Old Collinsville Road in St. Clair County will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday while crews move a historic building.

The road will be closed from Munie Road to Lashley Estates while the St. Clair County Historical Society moves the historic Messenger Schoolhouse to the Messenger Cemetery, according to Doug Gain, president of the St. Clair Historical Society.

Signs will inform the public and detour routes will be available using Lebanon Avenue, Hartmann Lane, Frank Scott Parkway and Illinois 159.
