Much-needed rain expected throughout the weekend

Published: December 7, 2012

Metro-east commuters will have to deal with spotty fog Friday during the morning commute.

After the morning rush hour, the fog should lift. But, according to the National Weather Service, cloudy skies will remain with a 50 percent chance of rain throughout the day and a predicted high temperature of 58 degrees. After the evening rush, the chance of rain will diminish slightly to 40 percent.

Skies are expected to be partly cloudy during the daytime hours Saturday with a high temperature of 52 expected. A 60 percent chance of showers moves in Saturday night and remains through the day Sunday when a high temperature of 56 degrees is predicted.
