The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

THURSDAY

6:13 p.m. DOMESTIC BATTERY - 500 block of Longview Drive. The victim, a 52-year-old female, reported getting into an argument with her daughter/suspect, a 26-year-old female, at which time the suspect struck her in the face with her fist. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim signed a refusal to file a complaint form for the battery.
