The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BELLEVILLE POLICE

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 5

9:22 a.m. Theft over $500 -- Mercurio Sheet Metal, 733 Lebanon Ave. The business owner reported aluminum roofing material and gutter stolen overnight. At 10:08 a.m., officers responded to Paule's Metal Recycling and arrested two suspects. The suspects were transported and held pending further investigation.

9:41 a.m. Burglary to residence -- First block of Marlo Drive. Officers responded to a report of an alarm sounding. On arrival they observed the back door kicked in by unknown person(s) to gain entry.

4:12 p.m. Discharge of firearm (city ordinance) -- 100 block of West Main Street. Michael J. Isenhart, 54, was arrested for shooting pigeons with an air rifle. Isenhart was issued a non traffic citation and released with a notice to appear.

5:05 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Two suspects were arrested after employees observed them conceal merchandise and pass all points of sale without paying. Employees detained the suspects until officers arrived. Both suspects were transported and held pending further investigation.

8:52 p.m. Attempted home invasion, residential burglary -- 200 block of Freedom Drive. The victim reported being woke up by a loud noise inside her residence. Her son told her a man had barged into his room, pointed a handgun at him, then fled. The victim discovered damage to her front door and called police. Officers responded to the area and located a subject matching the description. Officers attempted to stop the subject. The subject fled and was caught a short distance away. The son made a positive identification, and the suspect was held pending further investigation.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 5

Charles E. Cohn, 60, of 105 S. Long St., Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of reckless discharge of a firearm on Dec. 1 by Caseyville police. Cohn allegedly endangered the bodily safety of Charles J. Swan, in that Cohn discharged a .357 Colt revolver.

Travion A. Pearson, 24, of 666 N. 31st St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on Dec. 4 by Alorton police. Pearson allegedly carried a .22-caliber handgun while not on his own land, abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and immediately accessible. Defendant had not been issued a current, valid FOID card.

Michael W. Coburn, 49, of 208 N. Ruby Lane, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of attempted residential burglary on Dec. 4 by Fairview Heights police. Coburn allegedly knowingly and without authority tried to enter a residence on Northrook Circle with the intent to commit theft therein.

THURSDAY, DEC. 6

Michael E. Hammond, 48, of 37 Westwood Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent on Dec. 5 by Cahokia police. Hammond allegedly drove a green 1995 Dodge Dakota on Camp Jackson Road in Cahokia, while under the influence of alcohol and while his driving privileges were revoked. Defendant had been convicted of driving while license is revoked on June 9, 2012.

Charles L. Johnson, 61, of 3101 1/2 Bellview, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon on Dec. 4 by East St. Louis police. Johnson allegedly possessed a Winchester .22 long rifle. Defendant had been convicted of a forcible felony on Jan. 5, 1972.

Melvin T. Blue Jr., 19, of 427 N. 23rd St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of burglary on Oct. 25 by East St. Louis. Blue allegedly entered a building doing business as Champion's Liquor Store at 1808 State St., East St. Louis, with the intent to commit theft therein.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 5

John J. Markiewicz, 34, of Edwardsville, arrested on suspicion of no registration, suspended or revoked driver's license by Illinois State Police.

Cathryn R. Donald, 25, of Cahokia, warrant arrest by Alorton police.

Jermaine L. Ross, 42, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct by St. Clair County sheriff.

Lisa R. Dilworth, 30, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by Brooklyn police.

Darrren J. Gill, 23, of St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Joseph W. Winkler, 29, of Carlyle, multiple warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Stephen W. White, 22, of Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis, multiple warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Robert M. Blanchard, 49, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of theft over $300 by East St. Louis police.

Samuel D. Geller, 18, of Collinsville, warrant arrest by Collinsville police.

Rufus Austin, 47, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by Collinsville police.

Shawn W. Montague, 44, of Belleville, warrant arrest by Cahokia police.

Michael W. Coburn, 49, of Fairview Heights, warrant arrest by Fairview Heights police.

Cheri L. Chapman, 34, of Belleville, warrant arrest by Belleville police.

Colby J. Clark, 27, of Creve Coeur, Mo., warrant arrest by Illinois State Police.

Dwight P. Chandler II, 33, of Granite City, warrant arrest. No arresting agency available.

William H. Cowger, 53, of Granite City, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence by Brooklyn police.

Jon A. Spencer, 31, of Caseyville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Darrius L. Cash, 20, of Belleville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Bradley C. Scarpi, 32, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of probation violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Matthew B. Roth, 52, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct by St. Clair County sheriff.

Demarcus A. Brown, 37, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of operating uninsured motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle with suspended license, suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

THURSDAY, DEC. 6

Chareatha A. Jones, 25, of Belleville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Keila L. Knox, 34, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

James L. Thomas, 50, of Washington Park, warrant arrest by Belleville police.

Ernest L. Duty Jr., 19, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to land, possession of a controlled subject, warrant arrest by Union Pacific Railroad.

Stanley G. Delk, 49, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of theft over $300 by Belleville police.

James L. Wagner, 46, of O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance by O'Fallon police.

Devion D. Spears, 25, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis, delivery or possession with intent by Swansea police.

Donald D. Shoemaker, 21, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft by Swansea police.

Eric L. Meeks, 53, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, illegal transportation, operating uninsured motor vehicle, traffic violation by Centreville police.

Derric J. Golliday, 23, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of parole violation, warrant arrest by East St. Louis police.

Merissa J. Bradley, 21, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft by East St. Louis police.

Tevin D. Jones, 18, of Cahokia, warrant arrest by East St. Louis police.
