A one-car accident in Sauget early Monday morning has sent a motorist to the hospital.
According to police reports, at about 2:30 a.m. a driver crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Illinois 3 and Queeny Avenue. The collision badly damaged the passenger side of the car.
No information about the condition of the driver was available.
