FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS - A 45-year-old O'Fallon man was charged with public indecency after exposing himself to a customer in Hobby Lobby.

Kelvin B. Rodgers of the 100 block of Lee Drive in O'Fallon was charged with public indecency by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office.

Rodgers had been charged with public indecency in Illinois and Missouri on two previous occasions. Although the charge of public indecency is normally a misdemeanor, a third arrest enhances the charge to a felony offense, according to police.

Fairview Heights police responded to Hobby Lobby located at 10850 Lincoln Trail after receiving a call at 2 p.m. Saturday that a man has exposed himself.

Officers met with the victim and were given a detailed description of the male who was still in the store, according to police. After he was identified, officers were able to arrest Rodgers.

Rodgers is currently being held at St. Clair County Jail. His bond was set at $15,000. If convicted, Rodgers faces one to three years in prison.
