I keep hearing the Republicans talking about the "fiscal cliff" especially Rep. John Boehner. Seeing that Congress created this problem, how much less pay are they going to take to help solve this problem? They blame everything on Social Security and Medicare, but they found out because of their congressional pension (which they created) they cannot collect Social Security or use Medicare for themselves.

Also, how will lawmakers repay the $200 billion they authorized George W. Bush to remove from the Social Security Trust Fund to pay for the unbudgeted war in Iraq (initial funding)?
