Investigators are trying to determine if a pair of residential fires that started within minutes of each other were a coincidence.
Firefighters received a call of a house fire in the 600 block of Tulane Drive in Centreville at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday. At 11:40 they got a call to a mobile home a few blocks away in the 4900 block of Mc Casland Avenue in Alorton that was ablaze.
Firefighters reported that no one was in either of the residences when the fire started and no injuries were suffered in either case.
