Faith House opens free mall for needy
Faith United Baptist Church will open a free Holiday Love Mall for the Needy from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (Dec. 15) at the church, 112 W. Washington St. in O'Fallon.
The Love Mall provides shoes, coats, household items, clothing and food to families in need.
"Normally, we assist up to 150 families, and this year, we'll double or triple that because of our friends at the 635th SCMG at Scott Air Foce Base, who are forwarding their donations to us," said the Rev. Willie Brown, pastor of Faith United, also known as Faith House.
The Love Mall will be available to metro-east families in need through 5 p.m. Christmas Eve.
Kids perform and collect shoes
The Pentecostals of Troy, 312 S. Main St. in Troy, on Wednesday will present "The Christmas Shoe Tree," a kids Christmas musical with a Soles4Souls challenge. Pentecostals sell Christmas cookies

Choir to sing Christmas concert
