Letter writer Leon Anderson called Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham two of our most distinguished senators. How distinguished are they when they tried to destroy U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice's stellar reputation regarding the Benghazi, Libya, incident? Some of their fellow Republicans even admitted Rice merely reported information given to her by intelligence. Rice is an ambassador, not the CIA nor FBI. It seems these senators were trying to shield the real culprits?
Do I support Susan Rice becoming secretary of state? I did until I heard she supported U.S. involvement in the Syrian conflict for the purpose of saving its citizens from genocide. If that's true, I don't want her, or anybody else who believes we're the world's savior. That goes forMcCain and other warmongers who want to oust a regime because the leader is hurting his own people.
Have these do-gooders forgotten the U.S. Civil War? Should President Lincoln have been ousted, and tried as a terrorist for hurting his own people?
If we are supporting rebels in these countries, that means a new regime has been chosen. How foolish! Haven't we had enough rebels turn on us? But face it. Our involvement is not really about protecting the people of Libya, Syria, Lebanon and future Mideasterners. It's to break down governments for corporations, usurpers of resources, and for guess who to take over the entire Middle East. The West Bank is not enough.
