An 18-year-old Belleville man was charged Monday with two counts of armed robbery, a class X felony, by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office.

Terrell L. McCaleb was charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred last Tuesday in the 200 block of Freedom Drive near Belleville. McCaleb allegedly was one of the four male suspects who robbed two male victims in the parking lot of the apartment complex.

All suspects were transported to Sheriff's Department and interviewed. One of the suspects has been released. Another, a 15-year-old juvenile, was detained in the St. Clair County Juvenile Detention Center.

McCaleb is currently being held in the St. Clair County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bond. If convicted, he is facing between 6 and 30 years in prison.
