Well I don't know, but it seems to me you should get the $10,000. It was offered and you did catch the guys. But, then again, you may have denied them their rights and well, you know, you did have that rifle and you may have scared them. You held them against their will. I am surprised you weren't charged with a crime.

Now if your last name had been Kern, Eckert, Justice, Clayborne or Costello, well now, that would be a different story. You would get the money, a parade and state job with a huge pension. Well, you get the idea?
