Metro train.

MetroLink trains are running on schedule Thursday morning after a scary situation overnight.

At about 11:15 p.m. a fire started on the roof of a train at the Delmar Station in St. Louis. Passengers had to be evacuated from the burning car. Metro St. Louis reported no injuries due to the fire, which is believed to have been started by a lightning strike.

MetroLink trains were stopped in both directions while firefighters put out the flames; later, the car was removed from the tracks.
