Holiday Concert -- 7 p.m. Saturday, Wildey Theatre, 252 N. Main St., Edwardsville. Evening of holiday music by choirs, soloists and instrumentalists from the community. Performers include Mat Conway, Nicole Hudson Hollway and Tom Townsend, Carsyn Weaver, Emilie Nevins Carter and Gene Peters with Bob Raymond on piano, Anna Harris, Liz Ahrens and Bill Diggs. Also performing will be the Edwardsville String Ensemble, Paul Herbert Pitts' Caberet Showcase Singers, Eden's Cherub and Sonshine Choir, St. John United Methodist Church Choir and the St. Boniface Choir and Handbell Choir. Edwardsville Mayor Gary Niebur will read "'twas the Night Before Christmas." Tickets $15 adults; $10 high school students and younger; available at www.wildeytheatre.com. Proceeds to benefit Wildey Theatre, which is owned by the City of Edwardsville.

Christmas Carol Service -- 9 a.m. Sunday, Union United Methodist Church, 721 E. Main St., Belleville. Performers include violinist Manuel Ramos and cellist Catherine Lehr, both with the St. Louis Symphony, the Ramos Family String Group and the Sanctuary Choir. A Christmas Tea will follow.
