O'FALLON - Police are looking for a suspicious man who approached a 12-year-old O'Fallon School District 90 student Wednesday morning.
The man was following the student in a car in the 200 block of West Fifth Street at South Oak Street, according to police. The man asked the girl if she needed a ride, police said. When the student told the man she was waiting for her bus, he left the area.
The driver was described as a black male in his 20s with dread lock style hair, black shirt and black stocking cap.
The car was described as a gold, four-door Chrysler Pacifica with Illinois license plates and tinted windows. It was last seen heading north on Oak Street.
Anyone who sees the car or has any information about the driver is asked to call the O'Fallon Police Department at 624-4545.
