THURSDAY
1:18 p.m. DOMESTIC BATTERY/AGGRAVATED BATTERY - 300 block of West I Street. The victim, a 29-year-old female, reported her boyfriend/suspect, a 26-year-old male, battered her with his fists during an argument. Victim #2, a 30-year-old female, and witnesses attempted to separate the suspect from the victim, when the suspect struck victim #2 numerous times with a bottle. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. For more police blotter news, read tomorrow's print edition of the Belleville News-Democrat and return to bnd.com.
