A 20-year-old Godfrey woman was charged Friday with predatory criminal sexual assault of a boy.

Romanita C. Rogers, of the 5000 block of King Arthur Lane in Godfrey, allegedly engaged in a sexual act of a child younger than 13 in her home Aug. 12, according to the Madison County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies met with a complainant Wednesday who suspected her child was the victim of a sexual assault.

Rogers is being held in the Madison County Jail. Her bail was set at $100,000.
