The passing of St. Clair County Sheriff Mearl Justus from this life leaves a big hole in the thin blue line. Thanks to Sheriff Justus, the team he built has several very good candidates for sheriff. All of same were mentored by this legend, leader and innovator. I bet God has already put him to work up there.
