The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:
Tuesday
6:48 p.m.: DOMESTIC BATTERY/THEFT UNDER - 200 block of S. 17th St. The victim reported getting into an argument with her boyfriend/suspect, at which time the suspect threw her to the floor and struck her about the head with his fists. The suspect was gone prior to Officer arrival.
