People are outraged over gun violence and mass murder. If you are really shocked by the murder of young children, it is time to step back and look at our culture.

Young people and others are inundated with movies and video games that stress killing as a way to win. What outcome would you expect? When the movie "Top Gun" was new, enlistments to the Navy soared in all areas. Men are so easily seduced by visual images.

How, then, can we sit back while millions of children each year are forcibly removed from their mother's womb by use of a scalpel, a forceps and a suction vacuum (after being killed by a scissors to the brain)? That is a partial-birth abortion.

Ethics and morals, not religion alone, demand that we stop this. No civilized country in history has approved this including the Nazis.

People protest abortion centers to no avail. Abortion is the law approved by the Supreme Court. The only real chance to change this is to demand that the American Medical Association declare that life begins at conception.

The heart is beating within 18 to 20 days. That, folks, is life.

So please stop marching and start writing or calling your doctor(s) to demand they declare a truth. Demand your doctor use his voice to declare this truth to those who can make the difference.
