Kolyn C. Kerr was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Kinley K. Brady was arrested in connection with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. No injuries were reported.

The Madison County Sheriff's Department responded to an anonymous report of an erratic driver in the 7600 block of Godfrey Road at about 10:50 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies responded to the area and located the vehicle, which had struck a construction barrier.

The driver, Kerr, displayed signs of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

A passenger, Brady, was under the age of 21 and displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Brady was transported to the Madison County Jail and held on a $100 cash bond.

Deputies discovered Kerr had an active arrest warrant from Jersey County for unlawful consumption of alcohol. Kerr was transported to the Madison County Jail and issued traffic citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving on a suspended license.

Kerr was also issued a misdemeanor complaint for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was held on a $900 cash bond.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
