Red Bird Lanes in Cahokia is holding it's annual insidebowling.com Holiday Doubles bowling tournament this weekend.

Action begins at 7 p.m. Friday for 108 two-man teams competing for the $7,000 first prize. The action continues at 9 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday. The top 24 teams will come back at 9 a.m. Sunday to bowl four more games to narrow the field to the top 12 teams for 12 games of match play.

Top pros bowling are Pete Weber, Eugene Mccune, Liz Johnson, Sean Swanson, Tom Hess, Brian Valenta, Jeff Carter, Mike Wolfe, Mike Mineman and Nathan Bohr, plus many of the top metro-east bowlers.

Admission is free for spectators. The action will be streamed live at insidebowling.com.
