Belleville blotter: Disturbance at McDonalds leads to fugitive's arrest

Published: December 31, 2012

The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

Friday

8:35 p.m. DISTURBANCE-FUGITIVE ARREST - 4400 block of W. Main St. Johnathan Franklin, 19, was arrested after officers, investigating a disturbance at McDonalds, discovered he had outstanding (charges) out of Belleville for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Franklin was given a Notice to Appear and released.

Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. For more police blotter news, read tomorrow's print edition of the Belleville News-Democrat and return to bnd.com.
