In reply to the nice letter of Dorothy Feder speaking up for the helpless unborn, I want to share what the Blessed Mother said in Ohio after a recent blizzard.

Recently it was the feast of the Holy Innocents; in the Bible the ruler ordered the death of innocent lives. The Blessed Mother said the snowflakes represent the millions of innocent lives lost on the altar of abortion. Like the snowflakes, every innocent life is an individual made by God's design with unique physical appearance and hidden talents. But abortion snuffs out their lives without concern just like each snowflake melts away.

The people who participate in abortion will find their journey to salvation as difficult as travelers in a snowstorm unless they repent.

Today's government leaders are like Herod, who ordered innocent lives killed. Abortion is the most wicked sin, which calls down God's justice upon earth, the Blessed Mother said.

Let us make 2013 a much safer year for our unborn.
