When asked by a reporter how old the earth is, Republican Marco Rubio put on his tin foil hat and said he did not know.

If Rubio uttered the fact that the earth is more than 4 billion years old, the evangelicals would make him pay in the 2016 GOP primary. Religion is not something that operates in a vacuum.

Religious wars and persecution are the by-product of the ignorance that is handed down from generation to generation. Until Homo sapiens get off the religious crazy train, ignorance will prevail.
