Thank you to Jerry Costello for 24 years of service as our U.S. representative. He served with honor in Washington, D.C., a great distance from his wife and children. It had to be a hard decision for them to stay here, in a stable environment, while his work usually kept him in political turmoil so far away in D.C.

I want him to know that he has the gratitude of many of us who don't personally know him but understand the difficulty it has been to juggle "doing the people's business" while maintaining his personal life with his family.

Thank you to Costello again. It was a great ride under his stewardship.
